With vast amounts of personal information available online, access to and use of that information raises ethical issues, as evidenced by the episode earlier in the year involving online information about Justice Scalia. In remarks delivered by Chris Wolf at the IBM IT Service Legal Summit, he suggests that the ethical focus more realistically should be on the input side of the personal information privacy equation.
